jb@queru.com BioJean-Baptiste is a French software engineer, he is married to Eugenia, who is mostly known for having been the editor-in-chief of OSNews.
He studied in France, where he majored in math, physics, computer science, software engineering (studying all 4 took him a grand total of 8 years in college), and also studied some chemistry, biology and a few other things on the way.
He moved to the US to work as a software engineer in the Silicon Valley.
Some people remember him for being an outspoken BeOS engineer. Fewer people know him for having worked on Openwave's mobile browser even though that software has shipped over a billion copies. He is now working at Google on Android, which is a full suite of mobile software.
He started programming when he was 10 and hasn't really stopped since then (and isn't planning to either)
Jean-Baptiste (hyphenated) is his full first name, yes, really.
